Advocis Calgary Has Been Busy Working For You - Our Members!!

In the September issue of Business in Calgary, you will find an Ad on Page 30 that we ran to support the professional credibility that an Advocis membership offers. With the tag line "financial peace of mind that lasts long after the business day ends", the Ad speaks to the professional and ethical standards that Advocis members adhere to. To continue to build consumer recognition and value, we will be running another Ad in the New Year that addresses RSP Season.

On September 13th we held our Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Valley Ridge Golf Club. The change from June to September seems to be serving us well as we had a beautiful sunny and warm day. A great day of golf, good company, a wonderful meal - and to top it off, we raised some money for a great charity - Inn from the Cold!!

We have some more great events on the horizon.

Our Annual General Meeting is on October 18th, along with Uncomplicating Compliance and a presentation by Assuris. This event is for "members only" and free of charge.

A half day CE session entitled "The New Age Advisor - 2012 and Beyond" is on November 6th at the Carriage House Inn;

And be sure to mark your calendars for our Annual Christmas Luncheon on Thursday, December 6th at the Red & White Club.
