Attention: Members and Sponsors!

Over the past two years, I have been the sponsorship chair for the Calgary chapter.   The one thing that I have learned in my time being on the executive board is the importance of relationships.    Whether we are talking about relationships between fellow chapter members, or the relationship between board members and the chapter, working together creates for a stronger chapter.

This month, I want to focus on my area of responsibility, sponsorship.  Over the last few years, the relationship between our chapter membership and our sponsors continues to grow.  We have been fortunate to build our sponsorship base which in turn allows us to offer more value to our members.   Our ability to continually offer engaging content and high quality speakers at our continuing education events, as well as put on memorable social and networking events, is due in large part to the continued support of our sponsors.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors!  Many of them have been supporting our chapter for years.  It is through our close relationship that the foundations of a strong chapter are created.    To our more recent sponsors, I would like to thank them for choosing to support Advocis Calgary and hope that this is the beginning of a long and mutually beneficial relationship.  It is our hope that they continue to see the value and difference they make to our chapter through their participation.
