An Exciting Year!!

2012 is finally winding down.  At the Calgary Chapter of Advocis we are thrilled to be closing out the year on such a high note.  Our Christmas Luncheon was an overwhelming success.  With Ambassador Ken Taylor as our Keynote speaker and over 400 members in attendance, this year’s event turned out to be our most successful in decades.

In addition, at the recent Advocis Leadership Conference in Toronto, Calgary was recognized as one of the country’s top chapters.  We are considered a national success story with the City often used as an example of how things should be done.  Calgary measures at or near the top in virtually every category used to measure the health of a chapter.  With such a strong and vibrant organization, we should all be proud of what we have managed to accomplish together.

Looking forward to 2013, we have a new chapter president in Mike Bibby, a strong and experienced Executive, and plenty of positive momentum.  While the industry challenges we face remain daunting, I have tremendous faith in the local team we have working together on our behalf.  We truly are in great hands!
