September 29 Charity Golf Tournament
Well, it turned out much better than expected! When a brutal early September storm descended on us, we were forced to move our Golf Tournament from September 11th to September 29th. What a day it turned out to be!! Not only did we get more teams and sponsors out, the weather was a lovely, sunny 20C. It was a perfect day for golf.
At the end of it all, we had the following winners:
1st place was Canada Life’s team of Blair Baert, Ned Mazur, Patrick Uzan and Kevin Golandy with a score of 57; winners received each a $250 Gift Card from the Pro Shop, AND the holder of the coveted "Duffer" Trophy for the year.
2nd place was another Canada Life team of Jackie Lively-McKee, Shane McKee, Carrisa Seguin and Dave Phillips with a score of 57; winners received each a $150 Gift Card from the Pro Shop;
3rd place went to Assante’s Chris Minnema, James Durnin, Peter Murray and Trevor Armstrong with a score of 58; winners received Professional Weather Stations;
4th place went to Canada Life’s Jason Prentice, Brian Harrington, Ken Steele and Geoff McNary with a score of 59; winners received Survival Knife Set
Ronny Hui, Mike Gilchrist, Kelly White, and Rob Gillings with Great West Life took 5th place with a score of 59; winners received portal hand carts
Hub Financial’s team of Kerry Cooper, Kristi Keller, Wayne Wiebe and Dave Batty finished 6th with a score of 60; winners received Bushnell Binoculars
7th place went to Assante’s team of Scott Masters, Al Chapman, Wayne Hoffert and Roy Willis with a score of 62; winners received Projection Alarm Clocks
PPI Solution’s team of Jeff Borden, Russ Young, Daryl Lawrence and David Udy took 8th place with a score of 62; winners received Stanley Extra Large Thermos
9th place winners with a score of 62 were Nancy Schafer, Jeff Marek, Tom Neufeld and Scott Bonertz; winners received Variable Temp Electric Kettles
10th place winners with a score of 63 were Steve Gowda, Darryl Stinn, Doug Harper and Dan Benny. Winners received Porcelain Serving Set
Most Honest Team went to Manulife’s Kris Hird, Jon Copple, Ryan Hohman and Kevin Macleod; they each received a $50 Gift Certificate to Joeys Restaurant.
